Musical Theater Camp – Voice, Acting & Dance!
Are you or are you on your way to becoming a “triple threat”? Our Musical Theater Camp is designed to help hone students’ essential skills so they are prepared for the demands of a Broadway or musical screen career. Campers will take part daily in intensive voice, acting, and dance workshops taught by outstanding Broadway and Hollywood artists and college faculty. Our Musical Theater Camp curriculum consists of workshops that will focus on acting, improvisation, scene study and interpretation, song study and interpretation, vocal instruction, dance for musical theater, audition techniques, performance analysis, as well as performing on camera. Students will receive a brief history of musical theater. There will be a “work in progress” showing on the last day of camp.
Students are assessed on the first day of the program and are grouped accordingly by ability. Our Musical Theater faculty works closely with students, giving one-on-one feedback to address individual strong points and weaknesses. Our program provides instruction and growth for all levels – beginner to advanced.
