at the following locations: UCLA School of Theater, Film & Television Bio April Shawhan is an actress, director, and a member of the adjunct faculty of the UCLA Theater Department. She has brought her teaching talents to the Trinity Rep Conservatory, the American Academy of Dramatic Arts and Playwright's Horizons. She has directed and acted in countless plays on Broadway, Off Broadway and Regional Theater playing such roles as Blanche in Streetcar Named Desire, Jane Seymour in Hal Prince's Rex and Hero in Much Ado About Nothing for the Tyrone Guthrie. She brings her extraordinary talent, energy and guidance to the Theater Camp of the UCLA Arts Camp and along with other theater faculty has made that program into a major acting arena for young people.
