Bio
Emmy Winner Jeff Stein is leading the UCLA ARTS CAMP workshop in Sitcom Writing and Producing in 2010. Producer of the classic hit television series "Barney Miller" Jeff brings his own unique writing and producing skills to our students in this workshop. He was the co creator, writer and executive producer of the well remembered series "Mr. Belvedere" which won an Emmy during its reign as a hit comedy series. Jeff co-created and co-executive produced the TV series "Sister Kate" was the executive producer/ writer on the series "Babes" and has written episodes for many television sitcoms including "Night Court" " Ned and Stacy" and the ever popular "King of Queens". A man who is well known at all four networks he has written or co-written over a dozen TV pilots for all four of them. In fact one year, he had a pilot going at all four. Jeff Stein does not limit his writing/producing to television sitcoms. He was one of the writers (albeit uncredited) on the hit motion picture "Roger Rabbit" "My Favorite Martian" and "American Tail II" He currently has two films in pre-production ("Harpers Fairy" and "Honey Pig") and has written the romantic comedy "The Perfect Holiday". Jeff Stein has also taught at several colleges and universities and now in 2010, he joins Conchatta Ferrell (Two and Half Men) in leading the 2010 Sitcom Workshop.
