Bio
Brian Clinnin is a Scenographer who teaches and designs in several areas at TCU: scenery, lighting, costumes, makeup, and props. Prior to his recent move to Texas, Brian worked at Chicago Scenic Studios, building and painting scenery for projects including "Late Night With Conan O'Brien," "The Oprah Winfrey Show," and "The Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular." He was raised in Chicago and has earned a BFA in Illustration/Design and an MFA in Scenography from the University of Kansas. Brian has also studied painting at The Art Institute of Chicago and worked as a professional mural painter and union carpenter. Brian is a member of The United States Institute for Theatre Technology, and Theatre Without Borders. At TCU he has designed scenery and lights for The Laramie Project, scenery for Scapino and Picasso at the Lapin Agile, and scenery and costumes for Romeo and Juliet for the Trinity Shakespeare Festival.
