Bio
Kay Cole brings her renaissance sensibilities to all her work as both a director and choreographer. She is well known in the musical theater world and has directed and choreographed productions at The Hollywood Bowl, The Coconut Grove Playhouse, the Pasadena Playhouse, Reprise, and The Geffin Playhouse. Some of her inventive staging and directing credits include A Chorus Line, Getting My Act Together, Robber Bridegroom, Sweeney Todd, and Six Dance Lessons In Six Weeks (The Geffin and Broadway). She has worked in London's West End where she choreographed Snoopy and Blockheads and the recent Los Angeles hit production of Bark! The musical theater has been Ms. Cole's entire life. Some of her acting credits include the original company of A Chorus Line, Jesus Christ Superstar, Hair, The Roar Of The Greasepaint The Smell Of The Crowd, and Bye Bye Birdie among others. Her expertise in the field is known throughout the country and she provides the other half of the whole as the co-director of our Musical Theater Conservatory.
