All an actor needs is: Bravery, will and common sense. Simple honest and straightforward, Practical Aesthetics acting technique gives students a clear set of analytical and physical tools. By approaching the story with a clear and simple focus the actor uses his imagination, physical action, sense of play and personal experience to create emotionally honest and driven characters. Atlantic Acting School maintains an extremely co-operative, professional and supportive environment for the exploration of actors' creative goals and is committed to preparing its students for all aspects of a career in theater, film and television.

Atlantic provides one of the most rigorous courses of acting in New York City. Atlantic students are guided with care through the process of learning Practical Aesthetics. This course of study is paired with comprehensive instruction in the fundamental physical tools required for the craft: Voice, Speech and Movement.

"The Atlantic training was a breath of fresh air for me. I learned to analyze quickly, jump straight in, work for what my character wants and execute actions with precision. What very valuable tools they've proven to be!"
