This two-week intensive conservatory program will build upon the fundamental training taught in the one-week musical theater program. Led by celebrated Broadway artists, activities will include character development, scene study, voice coaching and advance dance instruction which includes current Broadway choreography. Those selected to participate will receive instruction and specific teaching materials in advance in an effort to maximize the student's experience and to identify the specific objectives of the program.
Additionally, students will have access to one-on-one sessions with Broadway artists discussing audition repertoire, career advice and the basic steps to surviving in New York City as a newly-arriving artist. The two-week program will culminate in a final presentation for family and friends showcasing each student's work, both as an individual and as an ensemble member.
