This US Performing Arts Musical Theater Camp is the essence of the "triple threat." Join Broadway artists, college faculty, and enthusiastic musical theater students from all over the country in a 6-day intensive training academy that focus on the three essential components of musical theater - acting, singing and dancing.
Curriculum includes improvisation, scene study, vocal instruction, audition techniques and dance workshops for all levels - from beginner to advanced.

Students check-in between 1 and 3pm on the first day of camp.
Flights should arrive into Bradley International Airport on the first day of camp prior to 2pm.
Flights should depart from Bradley International Airport on the last day of camp after 7pm.
Airport transportation is available to and from Bradley International for $30 each way.

Program Directors
David Covington David Covington has an extensive background in tap dancing and has danced his way across the globe with the internationally acclaimed company of Tap Dogs. He has performed in numerous international industrial events, including the 2002 Winter Olympics and has taught tap dance master classes across the US. Also an equity actor, David has performed in dozens of productions in the area, including performances at the Kennedy Center, Ford's Theatre, Folger Theatre, Signature Theatre, Theatre J, and Roundhouse Theatre. David has worked with such stars as Anne Reinking, Gregory Hines, Jeff Calhoun, Dein Perry, and Marvin Hamlisch. Most recently, David (and his choreography) was seen on the Kennedy Center stage in the 13th annual gala: A Salute to the 1940's Broadway Musical, with the National Symphony Orchestra, and hosted by Julie Andrews. He is a graduate of American University.
Location Information
Hampshire College is a small, independent, coeducational liberal arts college located on 800 acres of meadow and wooded land in Amherst, Massachusetts. An integral part of the Five Colleges Consortium, comprised of Amherst College, Mount Holyoke College, Smith College, and the University of Massachusetts Amherst, Hampshire College joins its sister school, UMass, Amherst, in a US Performing Arts program. Whether you attend one or more programs this summer at one or both of the campuses, you will have an opportunity to experience the Five Colleges.
